Maxxis ACU British MotoX Championship

29th June- Hawkstone Park

After missing last weekend's Maxxis Championship event at Desertmartin with a thumb injury, Mark Hucklebridge returned to action in the Fourth round of the Open Class MMX Championship series at Hawkstone Park looking to close the gap on Championship leader Wayne Smith.
Despite looking fast in the Qualification session, Huck struggled amonst the slower riders and was unable to get a clear lap in leaving him with Tenth position to go down to the start line.
A good start in race 1 saw Huck in fifth place after half a lap as the riders went up the notorious Hawkstone Hill but as the rider's reappeared on the down side of the hill, Huck was nowhere to be seen. When MotoXtreme team members made their way up the hill, they found him at the top and out of the race, he had hit a large bump at the top and was thrown from the bike. Nursing a suspected broken hand, he left the circuit before race 2 to get himself checked out at Hospital
