IMBA MX2 European Championship

27th July- Walterstone

 MotoXtreme European No 1,

After being nominated as a wildcard selection in the British round of
the IMBA MX2 European championship at Walterstone on Sunday,Lee Dunham
justified his selection in the best possible manner by blasting his
MotoXtreme 250F to brilliant overall victory.On a dry dusty circuit,making a
quick, strong start to ensure the best vision possible was absolutely
imperative.Lee certainly produced the goods from the gate with two out of three
supersonic holeshots.
In moto one,Lee led until the penultimate lap when pit boarded to let Championship Contenter Phil Mercer moved
through for the win for valuble points. Moto two and with the dust at its worst,Lee gated in 4th remained
totally focussed to reel in IMBA series leader Dutchman Martin Romviel
before powering onto a clear victory by over nine seconds.
Getting the final moto holeshot,Lee then guaranteed a glorious overall win
by not only again finishing infront of Romviel and the chasing European pack
but also recording another moto victory, his margin on this occasion being
eight seconds.
