Going into the days racing Sam Davis was looking to improve on his 8th place in the standings. Qualifying practice went OK for Sam and he posted the 10th fastest time.
A good start in Race 1 saw Sam come round the first lap in 5th place. Early race leaders Scott Elderfield and David Games both came together and put themselves out of the race moving Sam up the order to 3rd but Ed Allingham was charging through the field, and he soon found his way past. Sam was now closing on Nathan Rooks and on the last lap, he made a move and took the position to grab a deserved 3rd place after having no goggles for most of the race.
Another decent start in Race 2 put Sam in 6th on the first lap this time, but the next 2 laps saw Sam lose 2 positions. He was soon back up to 7th though after putting a pass on Joe Gregory, this was as good as it would get for Sam and he had to settle for 7th at the finish.
Sam's haul of 34 points was enough for 4th overall on the day and he now moves up in to 3rd in the Championship standings on 84 points.

New team rider James Dodd is now looking more settled on the Kawasaki and rode well in qualifying to take 21st position.
After a mid pack start in race 1, James finished lap 1 in 18th position but he was engaged in a race long battle with around 6 other riders, positions were regularly changing amongst this group and James unfortunately found himself on the tail of the group with 3 laps to go and despite charging hard to the finish he was unlucky to finish the race in 21st position, one place outside of the points.
A crash at the start of race 2 saw James get held up and complete his first lap in 26th place, with a sizeable gap to make up on the rest of the field, but he was riding smooth and posting some good lap times and soon moved up to 24th. The riders had now spread out but he consistently made up places and with just 2 laps remaining he made the vital pass for 20th position and that's where he would stay come the finish to gain himself a well deserved valuable championship point.
James is now 36th in the championship standings on 6 points.

MX1 class qualifying didnt go too well for the two MotoXtreme riders,Mark Hucklebridge was down in 16th and George Davis was in 36th which wasn't good enough for a guaranteed start but he was first reserve and still hopeful of getting a race.
A no show from one of the qualifiers meant a place on the startline for George in Race 1. A good start from Huck saw him in 7th position on the first lap but as the riders reappeared from the far side of the valley he had dropped right back, and cruised round for the remainder of the lap before pulling into the pits and retiring. George was doing well though and despite being almost last on the first lap he was coming through the field and by the midway point he was up to 22nd, but unfortunately that was as high as he could make it and he stayed there for the rest of the race.

A storming start in race 2 saw Huck come out of the first turn in 2nd and he held the position for two laps before being overhauled and by lap 6 he had dropped back down to 7th. Huck had now settled into a rhythm and was looking solid but in the closing stages he dropped back a further two places and ended the race in 9th. George started the race near the back and after 6 laps he retired whilst in 27th place.
