AMCA Championship Round 1
25th May- Wolverhampton
The opening round of the 2008 AMCA solo championships at a very wet
Cleobury Mortimer on Sunday produced very mixed fortunes for MotoXtreme
riders.Whilst Lee Dunham blasted his 250F to a brilliant 2nd overall, Aaron
Poolman in MX1 suffered a day he would rather forget and will be looking to
round two at Condover to open his account.
In MX2,Lee worked his way through the pack quickly reeling in the
leaders to earn a very strong 3rd spot behind winner Phil Mercer and Matt
Porter.Moto two,Lee produced a flying start and despite initially slipping
back to 4th still claimed a very strong runners-up spot at the flag despite
having his vision severely impaired by flying slime.
For Aaron,28th in MX1 one followed by a moto two DNF with conditions at
there very worst was not a true reflection on his efforts. |
