He's only been and done it!!,Lee Dunham is the 2009 IMBA MX2 European champion following the final round of the series at Meijel in Holland.In moto one,Lee made a strong start being the highest placed British rider and holding 7th spot until past half distance.Despite eventually slipping back to 8th at the flag,Lee importantly still finished ahead of title rival Phil Mercer. Again gating in 7th in moto two,Lee was involved in a great scrap for virtually the entire duration with Mercer and German Andre Adrian.Although having to settle for 9th at the flag,most importantly he still lead the championship standings with just one race remaining of the 2009 series. Displaying fantastic composure,Lee produced another super ride to take 8th in the final clash and although he was three places behind Mercer it was still enough to earn that IMBA title.Well done to all of Team Dunham for a truly fantastic and glorious IMBA season.
