AMCA Championship Round 3

13th July- Ollerton

Another strong, totally focussed performance from Lee at Bevercotes meant it was three out of three podium places, thus keeping the heat firmly
on championship leader Phil Mercer. In moto one,Lee produced a superb
holeshot to sit in 2nd spot behind Owen Delaney.Despite at one point
slipping back to 4th,Lee did get back to finish 3rd though, just behind
winner Mercer and Delaney at the flag.

In moto two another supersonic start saw Lee gate in 2nd behind James > Lane.Although Mercer again came through to take the win,Lee maintained a
strong 2nd spot to thus set up a very realistic chance of climbing the
podium at the end of the day. In the final MX2 thriller at Bevercotes,Lee inserted serious pressure on leader Payne before making a couple of late mistakes which saw him drop back to an eventual 3rd at the flag. However eight 2008 championship races and eight top three placings is a great start to Lee's championship quest, long may it continue!!.
